When ARIS ZINC GROUP acquired Strategic Executive Solutions (SES), we realized it was more than just a strategic transaction; it was an opportunity to re-engineer how we deliver outcomes through our new ESG Practice. This practice emphasizes sustainability practices while offering recruitment, managed services, and an environmental product range supported by "ThynkEvoSol".
SES brought a disciplined and proven managed service operational rigor that enhances scalability and reliability, expanding our reach into new areas of Australia, New Zealand, and beyond. ThynkEvoSol introduced a growing portfolio of experts and environmental technology systems that promote carbon capture and have a positive impact on residential and commercial enterprises of all sizes. Together, we capitalized on the chance to integrate services around products, allowing us to design, deploy, run, and continuously improve initiatives that achieve sustainable results.
In 2020, as the pandemic slowed the world, we posed a simple question: what role should we play in a more sustainable future? We began at home, mapping our supply chain to transition to lower-impact materials and suppliers. We established reduction targets in energy, travel, and waste management before discussing offsets. We migrated workloads to efficient cloud platforms, streamlined our asset lifecycles, and incorporated circularity principles such as repairability, reuse, and responsible recycling into our product designs in collaboration with our OEM partner, while enhancing service delivery through SES.
These internal changes reshaped our external promise. We shifted from merely "shipping solutions" to operating responsibly, ensuring effective onboarding of users, providing daily support, monitoring performance, and fine-tuning systems to reduce carbon emissions and costs over time. SES’s service desk acts as the first point of contact; our technical teams tackle complex issues; and, where specialized knowledge is necessary, we engage our Alchemy consortium partners and OEMs, all under one accountable operating model.
Feedback loops have been integrated into all processes. Knowledge-based articles and customer training have improved onboarding and operational efficiency, with telemetry indicating areas where energy use and performance could be further enhanced. Post-implementation “early life support” has solidified user adoption and growth. Governance dashboards link service levels to environmental KPIs, tracking uptime, response times, throughput, energy consumption, e-waste diversion, and emissions avoided. Customers can now see that enhanced service correlates with a reduced carbon footprint, leading them to seek ways to invest in our projects to further enhance their sustainability practices regarding carbon emissions.
To support our ambitions, we have fortified our foundations, aligning with ISO 9001 for quality through SES's certifications, adopting ISO/IEC 27001 for information security, ISO 14001 for environmental management, and ISO 45001 for health and safety, while operationalizing risk management through ISO 31000.
Today, that’s the essence of ThynkEvoSol: a company that integrates technology, services, and stewardship to ensure that human progress and environmental sustainability thrive together.
